Now that I am older I believe that eating almost all raw food is the only road to health and longevity.

cornucopia

I have given up on doctors for health problems apart from cuts and breaks. I decided that I didn't want any health problems, and that if I did have them I didn't want to take the medicines that the doctors wanted to prescribe.

veggies

I've walked that route and the medicines never cured the root problems for me and always caused more problems. Maybe I am just unlucky.

basket of fruit

I had some heart problems, I had really high blood pressure and a lot of skin problems and allergies.

veggies

I was working in a high pressure job in Vancouver, Canada. First I decided to try eating only raw food. Most of my health problems were way less of a problem. I felt better, my skin was having less problems and allergies didn't bother me so much.

strawberries

Then I decided that I would retire and move to a place where I could grow organic food all year long. So that is how I came here looking for a few acres to grow fruit trees and ended up buying this beautiful Carribean oceanfront property of Sardine Bay.

basket of fruit

I have always liked swimming in a warm ocean, so that is why I chose waterfront here.

pineapple

There were about 2 acres of pineapples organically grown by the Indians as a cash crop at Sardine Bay when I bought it. The person who bought it from the Indians let the brush grow for a year or so and they were getting very scrawny, but now I am getting the brush cut about once every 2 months and the plants are looking very happy.

Right now I have planted about 800 fruit trees, but of course it will be a year or two before I have an abundance of fruit from them. And perhaps the parrots and toucans etc will want a large share of that! There are certainly a lot of them around here!

lemon

The Indians planted quite a few lemons. They were grafted trees, but I don't think that the indians understood that. They let all the branches on the rootstock grow, so I've taken most of those out and replanted lemons in a different place. They tell me I should have lemons from the new trees in a year. They are certainly growing well.
