Of course there are a lot of trees here that are not fruit. Palms are my favourite. Here is a very tall palm.

And here are it's roots. I think that tree roots here go like that when the tree grew on an old trunk which has since rotted away. Almost any type of tree here can have this type of root.

There is a 'walking tree' in this part of the world that actually moves to get more light, and it has roots like this. But this is not a walking tree to the best of my knowlege.
